Deportivo La Coruna great Fran says his son's priority is to stay with Barcelona.

Talented midfielder Nico Gonzalez is training with Barca coach Ronald Koeman's senior team, though comes off contract in June.

“He went to Barcelona looking for a dream, and I hope he gets it. He gave up a lot, and the family also made a lot of sacrifice," said Fran, who is now back with Depor as a youth coach.

“They (other clubs) have called me a lot, but he has his agent and when Barça wants, they can call him.

"I'm not going to decide his future, the future belongs to him."

Fran is a former Manchester City coach and also revealed: "At 16, he had impressive offers to go to the Premier that multiplied those of Barça by 10."
