Denzel Dumfries To Start For Inter In Serie A Clash With Sampdoria, Italian Media Report

Denzel Dumfries is set to start for Inter in this evening’s Serie A clash with Sampdoria.
This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the Dutchman will be in the starting eleven ahead of Matteo Darmian, whilst they also report that Joaquin Correa is favourite to start in attack.
Darmian has come back into the starting eleven in a number of matches in recent weeks, with coach Simone Inzaghi preferring the experienced wingback to Dumfries who had largely cemented his starting place from December onwards.
However, it looks to be Dumfries who will be trusted from the first minute in the team’s final match of the season this evening.
Meanwhile, Correa looks to be the favourite to start in attack alongside Lautaro Martinez, with Inzaghi more inclined to start the Argentine than to start Edin Dzeko, who has started the past couple matches.
