Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers received a lot of criticism, especially from Celtic supporters, last year when he left the Hoops in the middle of a title-winning campaign to take over the Foxes after Claude Puel received the sack.
After finishing last season strong, guiding Leicester to a ninth-placed finish, Leicester are comfortably hanging onto a Champions League place and enjoyed a deep FA Cup run.
The Foxes now have a solid base to compete for silverware for years to come and Dennis Praet, who arrived from Sampdoria last summer for €21m, is a huge fan of Rodgers and his approach to management.
“He’s [Rodgers is] a very good coach. He speaks to his players a lot and for me, that’s very important,” Praet told the Leicester Mercury.
“Good communication is a very important part of every football club.
“As you can see, he’s done well everywhere he’s been and now he’s doing a lot of good work here at Leicester. His style of football is also very enjoyable to play in.
“He’s a great manager and a good person also, so I’m happy to be here learning from him.”
In 43 games at the club, Brendan Rodgers has earned a very impressive record of 26 wins, seven draws, and 10 defeats (1.98 points-per-game).
