Denmark and France meet in Group 1 of Nations League A on Sunday night with finals qualification and relegation at stake.
Denmark surrendered top spot as they were defeated by Croatia last time out and now have to better the result of Luka Modric and co to take first place.
France, meanwhile, have no chance of reaching the finals but will be relegated if Austria beat Croatia and they fail to win against Denmark.
Christian Eriksen scored a belter from distance in Denmark's 2-1 defeat to Croatia. He is now 13 goals behind joint-leading Danish men's goalscorers Poul Nielsen and Jon Dahl Tomasson. He'll start again here, looking to supply forwards Kasper Dolberg and Mikkel Damsgaard.
Jesper Lindstrom missed the Croatia loss through illness but may be able to feature from the bench.
Denmark Starting 11 (3-4-2-1): Schmeichel; Andersen, A. Christensen, Kjaer; Kristensen, Hojbjerg, Delaney, Maehle; Damsgaard, Eriksen; Dolberg.Bench: Ronnow, Nelsson, Jensen, Billing, Wass, Nielsen, Bah, Braithwaite, Skov Olsen, Hojlund, O. Christensen.
Didier Deschamps must be crying himself to sleep at night over France's current injury woes, especially with the World Cup just around the corner.
Les Bleus regulars Hugo Lloris, Karim Benzema, N'Golo Kante, Adrien Rabiot, Kingsley Coman and Paul Pogba are among those currently sidelined, while Mike Maignan and Jules Kounde were both substituted against Austria after picking up problems.
France Starting 11 (3-4-1-2): Areola; Saliba, Varane, Upamecano; Clauss, Camavinga, Tchouameni, Mendy; Griezmann; Mbappe, Giroud,.Bench: Lafont, Pavard, Badiashile, Truffert, Muani, Nkunku, Dembele, Veretout, Guendouzi, Fofana Camavinga.
Denmark are safe regardless of the result but want a win in the hope it will see them overtake Croatia at the top of the group. However, the Danes have been wildly unpredictable recently, losing twice to Croatia having previously beaten France in Paris.
Les Bleus have been underwhelming and have so many injury issues to contend with that we'll likely see a vastly difference lineup at the World Cup from the one on Sunday night.
Both teams need the win, but there may not be anything to separate them.
