Denis Suárez has hit out at reports suggesting Arsenal are planning to send him back to Barcelona at the end of the season.
Suárez joined moved to the Emirates Stadium on loan from the LaLiga giants in January but his Gunners career has so far been underwhelming and the Spanish midfielder is still awaiting his first start for the club.
Arsenal have the option to sign the 25-year-old for £18m at the end of the season but according to various reports this week, Unai Emery has been disappointed by his lack of impact so far and is unlikely to make the loan deal permanent.
But on Wednesday, Suárez appeared to aim a thinly veiled dig at those reports via his official Instagram account.
“Let them keep talking,” he wrote over a photograph of him training.
If Arsenal don’t sign Suárez permanently, they are reportedly keeping tabs on Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Christopher Nkunku and Rennes’ Ismaïla Sarr.
