Two LaLiga giants go head-to-head on Sunday, and it’s been a thrilling opening half of action so far.
Both Atlético Madrid and Barcelona hit the ground running at the Wanda Metropolitano with João Félix, Antoine Griezmann, Pedri, Gavi and others getting in on the action.
And some slick team play from the visitors has put Xavi’s men in front when a wide-open Ousmane Dembélé stabbed home his seventh of the season.
The goal means Barcelona have finally broken their scoring curse at these grounds, netting for the first time since 1 December 2019.
They went on to win that match 1-0, too, thanks to Lionel Messi.
And to make matters even better, Barcelona have never lost an official match in which Dembélé has scored (30 wins and 6 draws).
Can Diego Simeone’s men find a way back into this?
