Two-goal Man of the Match Andy Delort was thrilled after his Montpellier side booked a place in the Coupe de France semis after a dramatic 2-1 win over OM-killers Canet-en-Rousillon in the quarters on Tuesday night.

Indeed, Montpellier hit back in the final half-hour with Delort latching onto a quickly taken free-kick and firing an angled shot home before hitting the winner from the spot when substitute Sepe Elye Wahi was brought down in the area with just six minutes to go. "We got eaten up in the challenges; we didn't get into the match properly," explained Delort. "In Chateaubriand we only won 1-0, and in Alès it was complicated, but the most important thing is that we won and that we went a step further in the competition.
