Dele Alli played the game alongside his Tottenham teammate Kyle Walker-Peters as the Champions League semi-final was going on.

Footballers and celebrities have not been immune to the immensely popular game that sees 100 at first weaponless players dropped onto an island to face off in a battle royale. Manchester City striker Sergio Agüero said he played with Lionel Messi while they were on Argentina duty in Manchester.

On Wednesday night, Dele Alli became the latest one to join the party and made his online debut, drawing in tens of thousands of viewers to his Twitch channel.

Viewers were quite impressed with the complexity of forts that Dele was able to create in lightning-fast speed, although some fans accused him of camping in the bushes and trolling his squad members, one of which, in addition to Walker-Peters, is also believed to be former MK Dons team-mate George Williams.

During the broadcast, Dele revealed that he can’t get team-mate Christian Eriksen to play anymore and that he hopes that he can get Son Heung-min to play online with him for a future Twitch broadcast.

We really hope that happens.
