The new deal will see Alli’s basic wage almost double from £50,000-per week to around £90,000-per week, according to the Evening Standard.
Tottenham failed to make a signing during the summer but did secure the long-term futures of manager Mauricio Pochettino and key players Harry Kane, Erik Lamela, Davinson Sánchez and Son Heung-min. Alli now joins that group and the north London club will hope to convince Christian Eriksen and Jan Vertonghen to be the next to extend their deals.
An England regular, Alli has become a crucial part of the Tottenham team since arriving from MK Dons in 2015.
Alli won the PFA Young Player of the Year for both the 2015/16 and 2016/17 Premier League campaigns. Just 22, he has already been capped by England 31 times.
The midfielder has scored 48 goals in 153 appearances for Tottenham.
