Real Madrid defender David Alaba has returned from international duty with a knee issue, according to AS.
The Austrian picked up the knock against Denmark and could miss Madrid’s next game.
The issue is not thought to be serious, the report says, but only adds to Carlo Ancelotti’s defensive headache. With Éder Militão also injured, Nacho and Jesus Vallejo are the club’s only fit central defenders.
Alaba is now set to miss next week’s Champions League clash against Shakhtar Donetsk and a potential return date remains unconfirmed.
