A pair of highly-regarded up-and-coming youngsters were spotted in the thick of things in first-team training at La Liga giants Barcelona on Friday.
That’s according to Diario Sport, who highlight Juan Hernández and Pedro Fernández as the pair in question.
Barcelona are of course currently in the midst of final preparations for their final outing of the term this weekend.
With the La Liga title already sewn up, the Blaugrana will make the trip to the Basque Country, to close out what has been a hugely successful campaign in a meeting with Athletic Club.
Rotations are widely expected on the part of Hansi Flick, with so little on the line at San Mamés on Sunday evening.
And as much, as alluded to above, could yet open the door to a pair of breakthrough talents to make their respective bows at senior level.
As per Sport, the aforementioned Juan Hernández and Pedro Fernández were called up to train with Barcelona’s star-studded first-team this morning.
The former (17) is a midfielder, whilst Fernández (17) generally operates in a more attack-minded role.
It now remains to be seen if the two Spaniards have done enough to convince the coaching staff at The Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper of their readiness to contribute on Sunday.
