Dean Huijsen’s recent loan move to Roma from Juventus was discussed in detail by his father, Donny.
In an interview with TuttoJuve, the young defender’s father said of his son’s debut with Roma in last night’s draw with Atalanta, “Seeing him make his debut made us very happy, it’s never easy to arrive a day earlier and then play straight away at the Olimpico. He had a very good impact.”
“The aim of this loan is to guarantee him more playing time, because he didn’t get it at Juventus. Dean will certainly return to Turin with a more important wealth of experience, in order to be able to compete for a place in the Bianconeri’s line-up next year.”
“We thank Frosinone for their interest, but when Mourinho called us, it wasn’t very difficult to choose.”
“Dean will renew his contract with Juventus and extend it until 2028, this was part of our agreement,” said Donny Huijsen.
“Juventus and Roma did everything to conclude the deal positively. We are grateful for what happened,” he added.
