Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson has joined Nottingham Forest on a season-long loan deal.
The 25-year-old shone for Sheffield United in 2019/20, earning a place in the England squad.
He returned to Old Trafford in the summer of 2020 and signed a new long-term deal as he looked to compete with David De Gea. Henderson made 26 appearances for United in 2020/21, with half of those coming in the Premier League, but featured just three times in 2021/22.
After injury forced him to miss Euro 2020 last summer and COVID saw him miss the start of the season, a lack of opportunities has seen Henderson fall out of the England reckoning.
He will now hope to fight his way back into the international setup with newly-promoted Forest, where he is likely to be first choice after reports earlier this month claimed current number one Brice Samba is eager to leave the club.
