DE SILVESTRI’S COMMENTS AFTER THE MATCH

Lorenzo De Silvestri comments on today’s 2-1 win: “We are very happy with this win. We suffered a bit because it came in the final, but we dominated the game, kept the ball well and created chances until the end. We needed a win because the result always counts, but in terms of performance we did well in the other league games and in the Champions League. We managed to handle the two games in a week commitment well: the coach and staff were good at involving the whole group and making us all feel called upon. Personally I am happy to have played as a starter after a long time, to have made my contribution. I always do my job with passion.”
