“It’s a tough one to take. We conceded four goals and were always behind in the game. We made mistakes and we conceded. It’s true that we have a young squad but only up to a certain point; our young players have two or three years of Serie A experience now. We’re disappointed. We want to apologise to the fans, the Club and President. Now, we need to take stock of our errors and look to the future with optimism. We need to improve. It’s the start of the season and we can – and must – do better. We have an aim in mind; we want to better our performances from recent seasons and have a positive campaign.”
