Roma and Paulo Dybala are yet to address their future plans as the Argentine’s second season in the capital winds to an end.
With only one matchday remaining, Roma are hoping to resolve the situation regarding Dybala’s unclear future plans within the coming weeks.
According to Il Messaggero, Paulo Dybala’s extended stay at Roma is far from guaranteed at the moment.
Daniele De Rossi would keep Dybala with him, although he is aware that the Argentine’s physical condition would force him to carefully manage his playing time.
On the other hand, however, the Argentine world champion would like to return to playing in the Champions League (a remote hypothesis for Roma, who must hope that Atalanta finishes fifth in the standings).
With only one more year left on his deal with the Giallorossi, Roma potentially finds itself at a crossroads: finding a new agreement with la Joya (who would earn 8 million euros in wages next season) or selling him immediately to make a capital gain, so as not to risk losing him for free at the end of the contract.
