Roma boss Daniele De Rossi assessed Renato Sanches’ condition and his return from injury in tonight’s cameo appearance in the match against Torino.
The Portuguese midfielder had been sidelined for the past month with an ankle injury and was finally able to return in the second half of Roma’s 3-2 win over the Granata.

“Renato did his thing, it wasn’t easy to come back after a long time,” De Rossi told reporters after the match.
“He has trained at a higher pace since I met him, he feels good with the group. On Thursday, when Zalewski scored the final penalty of the night he jumped with the group and it means that he feels part of this group, this family. I think tonight he rose to the occasion and I wanted to see him with the team.”
