Dayot Upamecano intends to leave RB Leipzig this summer

Bild report tonight that Dayot Upamecano has signalled internally his desire to leave RB Leipzig this summer, with a host of European clubs chasing his signature.

French outlet Soccer Link reported yesterday that the 21-year-old has an agreement in principle with Bayern Munich, who are in talks with RB Leipzig to try and lower the release clause.

Upamecano has one-year remaining on his current deal but with financial uncertainty due to the coronavirus pandemic, clubs are highly unlikely to spend transfer sums as we have seen in the past.

Bayern Munich, Arsenal, Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspur and Barcelona have all shown some sort of interest in the Frenchman.
