Manchester City midfielder David Silva is reportedly set to join David Beckham’s Inter Miami side next summer.
Silva has one-year left on his current deal and confirmed his desire to leave City in 2020 – which would crown 10 years at the Etihad.
According to Independent Sport, Beckham wants a Spanish-speaking star as their marquee signing to maximise interest from south Florida’s Hispanic community.
It’s understood that Silva will take the next few months to confirm his decision but will leave with City’s blessing regardless.
The 33-year-old would join a host of famous names to play in MLS, including Zlatan Ibrahimović, Thierry Henry, Steven Gerrard, Andrea Pirlo and Beckham himself.
Inter Miami have already signed Argentine duo Matias Pellegrini and Julian Carranza, alongside Venezuela midfielder Christian Makoun.
