David Moyes is reportedly close to signing a new deal at West Ham United.
The 60-year-old returned to the club for his second managerial stint in December 2019 and guided them to Premier League safety.
The Hammers secured sixth and seventh-placed finishes in the following two seasons under Moyes. He also ended their trophy drought with Europa Conference League success in 2023.
Despite Moyes’ achievements, many Hammers fans are not satisfied with his brand of football.
However, The Sun reporter Alan Nixon claims Moyes will pen a new contract at the London Stadium.
Moyes has appointed his son David to the scouting department, which hints that he plans to remain as manager beyond this season.
The Scottish boss was under pressure after three successive defeats to Manchester United, Arsenal and Nottingham Forest in February.
But things have improved since then, with the Hammers defeating Brentford and Everton.
They lost 1-0 to Freiburg in the first leg of their Europa League last-16 tie in midweek, but West Ham blog says a big performance on home soil would be enough to send them through to the quarter-finals.
