With Nordi Mukiele (26) being linked with a move away from Paris Saint-Germain and Milan Skriniar potentially sidelined until the end of the season with an ankle injury, the club are in the market for defensive reinforcements this January.
According to Foot Mercato, moves for Feyenoord’s David Hancko (26), OGC Nice’s Jean-Clair Todibo (24) and RC Lens’ Kevin Danso (25) have been considered, however, none of the above are expected to move to the Parc des Princes this winter.
According to L’Équipe, Bayern Munich have offered to take Mukiele on loan until the end of the season, in a move that could be made permanent for €25m. However, PSG will only green light the move if they can find a replacement, which as PSG are finding out, is no easy task.
PSG indirectly enquired about a move for Danso, but the Austrian international is deemed untransferable. The same goes for Hancko at Feyenoord. Moves for Todibo and Lille OSC’s Lény Yoro have also been considered, but both deals would prove too financially onerous.
However, despite the barriers to recruiting, PSG are determined to sign two players this January: a centre-back and a full-back. The club have already sealed the signing of promising Brazilian centre-back Lucas Beraldo.
