Former Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea has given his availability to a move to Serie A side Genoa.
De Gea has been without a club since his release from Manchester United at the end of the 2022/23 season and despite links with clubs, he is yet to move to any side. He recently posted a cryptic emoji regarding his future, leading to speculation.
Gianluca di Marzio has reported that the Spaniard is interested in a move to the Serie A side and it is now down to the Rossoblu to make a decision about whether to move for the former Premier League winner or look at other potential targets.
De Gea was also on Inter’s shortlist last season when the Nerazzurri were looking for back-up goalkeepers but a move never came about. Inter now have Josep Martinez, who arrived from Genoa and this has left the Rossoblu looking for a new goalkeeper.
If De Gea does join, he would likely become Genoa’s first choice stopper but the decision comes down the club.
