Date confirmed for Italian Super Cup

The Italian Super Cup 2018 finally has a time and place.

Juventus will take on AC Milan, in Saudi Arabia on 16th January, Lega Calcio announced on Wednesday.

With Juventus winning the double last season, the Super Cup will be a repeat of the Coppa Italia final.

The same thing happened two years ago, with Milan running out Super Cup winners on penalties after a 1-1 draw.

This year’s game will take place in Jeddah at 20:30 local time (18:30 CET).

Juve and Milan have each won the Super Cup seven times, more than any other Italian club.
