Liverpool have officially completed the sale of striker Darwin Núñez to Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal.

The transfer will see the Reds receive an initial £50 million, with the potential for that to rise further with bonuses included.

It sees the Premier League champions make a loss on the 26-year-old, who joined for a fixed £64m fee (potentially increasing to £85m) from Benfica three years ago.

Núñez is set to pen a three-year deal with Al-Hilal which is worth a reported £18.7m per season.

During his time at Anfield, the Uruguay international scored 43 goals in 143 appearances across all competitions and won the Premier League title last season.
