Darwin Nunez has reportedly agreed a mega transfer to leave Liverpool.

For a long time now, the Uruguayan has been expected to leave the Reds. Even before the transfer window started, there was an expectation that Nunez won't be at the club come the start of the season.

So far, that move away from Anfield has not materialised. But we are still only at the beginning of August, things could move very quickly for Nunez in the coming weeks ahead.

One thing that's probably worth keeping an eye on is the fate of Alexander Isak. Liverpool know they will be short of no.9 options if they let Nunez leave, so they will have to have a replacement lined-up for him.

At this moment in time that replacement seems to be Isak. However, a lot hinges on Newcastle's stance in letting Isak leave and who the Magpies can bring in to replace their Swedish star.

Ultimately, though Nunez is definitely open to a move away.

Especially if the latest report from TBR Football is to be believed. Their report claims that Nunez has agreed personal terms 'in principle' with the Saudi Pro League to join one of the clubs competing in the competition.

The report claims Al Hilal and Al Ahli are keen on signing Nunez in particular, which is going to be music to Liverpool's ear.

The fact that Nunez is open to a move to Saudi is great news. European clubs have expressed interest in Nunez this summer but so far no one has been able to meet Liverpool's asking price.

Napoli and Atletico Madrid explored a move for him but all came short of what the Reds wanted.

This should not be an issue for Saudi Pro League clubs though. There is ample amount of money and the Saudis have not been afraid to splash the cash over the course of the last two years.

It means, Liverpool could strike a mega deal with Al Hilal or Al Ahli that will see the Reds profit massively financially and increase the club's sales even more, closer to the £200m mark this summer.

Anfield Watch understands Liverpool are holding out for at least £70m in order to part ways with Nunez. This would be a mega move for the Uruguayan, and undeniable a significant one for the Reds as well when it comes to the Premier League's Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR).

Obviously, a lot still needs to happen in order for this to go through. However, Nunez's acceptance of the move is a significant step forward.

His chapter now looks increasingly likely to come to an end at Liverpool.
