The former Real Madrid defender was also very disappointed by the treatment received and Juventus’ reluctance to let him go just six months before the expiration of his contract, as he feels it doesn’t reflect the commitment and professionalism he’s always shown for the club.

Antonio Conte’s side is unwilling to pay any fee for a player who would be out of contract in six months, and they’re ready to welcome him at the Stadio Diego Maradona with an 18-month deal as soon as he part ways with the Bianconeri.
