PSG have confirmed that Danilo Pereira has joined Al-Ittihad on a permanent basis.

The 32-year-old came through the ranks at Benfica, before beginning his professional career at Parma in Italy.

His breakthrough came after 135 league appearances for Porto, at which point he joined PSG, first on loan followed by a permanent transfer.

During his four seasons in the French capital, the Portuguese star made 157 appearances, scoring 10 goals and providing 3 assists.

The defender has also made a total of 74 appearances for the Portugal national team, and was paart of the side that won the European Championship in 2016.
