“Ndicka is fine, that’s the most important thing. Our attitude at that moment seems quite normal to me, we all managed it together and I think any coach would have acted like that. It’s nice to discover that we’re a family even in difficult moments, especially in those, not only when we win.”

“Milan? They will fight with everything they have. This is their last resort, they want to win and achieve one of their objectives for the season. It will be difficult.”

“Udinese-Roma? The club executives are at work to find a new date for us to resume the match. It’s not easy to find a date that suits everyone and I think that is a good thing for Italian football.”

“There are characteristics of the opponent that must always be respected, plus you have to consider the opposing manager’s decisions. The first leg with Milan was quite balanced, perhaps it went a bit better for us.”

Adding, “However, Milan won’t change their tactics too much, so we can’t overthink our own gameplan. Obviously we’re preparing to win, to try to score a goal, which would be a blow for them, even if it might not be decisive.”

“Milan are a very strong team, they are better than us, but in the first leg we showed that we are not that much inferior and I told my team that we can play for it. We are one step away from an important milestone such as a European semi-final.”

“Bove will play in Cristante’s place, and our way of playing will not change. Not having Cristante out there will be a significant absence but we have a lot of faith in Edoardo, he deserves to play a great match.”

“My future? Every match for me is a crossroads. Tomorrow’s is part of a journey to make us happy. In 100 days there were many days in which I felt happy to be the coach of Roma.”
