Daniele De Rossi wants to field his strongest line-up on Thursday as Roma prepare to battle it out with Brighton in the Europa League Round of 16.

The Italian coach is in fact predicted to start the likes of Lukaku, Dybala, El Shaarawy and Pellegrini to lead the team’s attack.

According to Corriere dello Sport, the main question remains how Roma will adapt defensively to contain Brighton’s fluid attacking phase.

The newspaper claims De Rossi is leaning towards relying on a three-and-a-half defense consisting of Gianluca Mancini (playing on the right and allowed to push further up the pitch) and Evan Ndicka with Zeki Celik as an additional centreback on the left.

De Rossi wants to be able to smoothly transition from a 3-5-2 formation to a more offensive 4-3-3 over the course of the match.
