Roma manager Daniele De Rossi confirmed Evan Ndicka’s start a few minutes prior to kick-off vs Napoli.
In his pre-match interview with Sky Sport, De Rossi said, “We need a great team attitude. We face an angry team today and they will want to show their pride in front of their home crowd.”
“Ndicka? He’s doing okay. We’re not afraid. He scared us a couple of weeks ago but he’s still our player and we’re happy to have him back on the pitch.”
“Kristensen and Azmoun? Kristensen has always done his part, plus Celik is disqualified in Europe. Karsdorp could play on Thursday and we preferred to leave him at home.”
“Sardar is good at leading the team, he is an attacking midfielder with the number 9; Tammy gives us more push and more physicality. However, our way of playing doesn’t change.”
