Daniele De Rossi, Claudio Ranieri being eyed for Palermo coaching position

Two important Roma figures are being considered for the coaching position at Palermo following the recent ownership change.

Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport reports that Roma legend Daniele De Rossi and former Giallorossi boss Claudio Ranieri are among the top candidates to for the coaching job in Sicily.

Both De Rossi and Ranieri have given their availability and are waiting for further developments.

De Rossi recently concluded his second spell with Roberto Mancini’s Italy staff. Ranieri, on the other hand, is looking for a convincing project after his brief and unsuccessful time at Watford.
