“We are aware that we can play on equal terms against a very strong opponent. Last year they made the semi-final of the Champions League and this year Milan were built to do better, so the outcome is still wide open, 50/50 for both.”

“If we play a great match like in the first leg it is not excluded that we will go through to the next round – that is our objective.”

“Bove replacing Cristante? Edoardo is more dynamic than Bryan, his inclusion in the line-up doesn’t change much. We have as much faith in Edoardo as we do in Bryan.”

“Cristante’s is an absence that weighs on any team, he is a player who has always been considered a starter by any coach both here and in the national team. We have tremendous faith in Edoardo and in all the other players, it will not only depend on him, but on the whole group.”

“The fans? We will have to make the difference supported by them, we cannot give them this responsibility. They already do more than what is legitimate to ask of them.”

“They are close to us every day, at the stadium in every match, since I arrived there has always been an increase in voices and hearts that support us. It will be nice to play in front of them but we are the ones who have to make them proud and advance, not the other way around.”

“We are already proud of what we have achieved and we are happy with how we are doing, but going to the semi-finals would make us very happy.”
