Speaking to the media ahead of the match, Daniel Farke previewed the game against the Lions.

“I think in this game, due to this quick turnaround and that we also have to keep going in the games afterwards, we'll probably rotate on a few more than just one or two positions,” the boss stated, when discussing team news for the game.

“At the moment the only player who is not in team training is Patrick [Bamford], and for that, that's the first step for him to return back to team training.

“It will happen at some point next week, we will see, it depends on the final stages of his rehab. Definitely not in the mix for Saturday, but all the others are available and for that all have a chance to be involved in the matchday squad.”

Onto the game itself, the Whites manager is looking forward to the test against Alex Neil's side, who was appointed head coach of Millwall at the end of December.

Farke said: “I'm full of respect for Alex and what he's done during his career. It's always difficult to play against his sides.

“His teams are always competitive with intensity, always play on the front foot and are brave, and don't waste much time in order to prepare their attacks.

“I'm also pretty aware it will be a difficult side, so this is definitely not a side come to Elland Road and fear, his side always plays brave.

“For that we are ready and prepared for another tough challenge and we have to be there with a really good, concentrated and focused performance in order to have the chance to go through into the next round.”
