Daniel Caligiuri to move to FC Augsburg

The 32-year-old, whose contract was running out at Schalke, will move to FC Augsburg. His new club announced the move on Monday (29/6).

“We would like to thank Daniel for giving everything in the past three-and-a-half years. He always gave his all in difficult times and represented our colours in a positive way. We wish Cali all the best for the future,” said Head of Sport Jochen Schneider.

The German-Italian, who moved to the Royal Blues from VfL Wolfsburg in January 2017, made 130 appearances for Schalke. He scored 21 goals and assisted 25.
