Real Madrid defender Dani Carvajal has confirmed his intention to eventually retire at the club.
Carvajal joined Los Blancos aged 10 and has since established himself as their first choice right back – one season with Bayer Leverkusen aside.
Having just won his second LaLiga title under Zinedine Zidane, the 28-year-old is targeting more silverware with years of top level football still to play.
“I would love to win many more titles,” he told Marca.”I would like to retire in white.
“I have won everything with the club and, at the title level, it is difficult to ask for more.
“I would also like to win a fifth Champions League with Real Madrid. This era will be remembered as one of the club’s top three.”
Carvajal made 41 appearances last season, scoring one goal and assisting five.
