Dani Alves calls for 'hot-head' Neymar to learn from his PSG mistakes

Dani Alves has called for Neymar to “reflect” on his behaviour after the Coupe de France final and claims that the Brazilian striker “made a mistake” in attempting to strike a fan.

Rennes won Saturday’s final on penalties and after the match, Neymar was seen confronting a supporter as PSG were going to collect their runners’ up medals.

Neymar since apologised but now Dani Alves has admitted that his international colleague needs to learn to check his emotions.

“It was a delicate moment,” he told ESPN.

“We had just lost a title and he was hot-headed. It was a reaction and one that I think was not right in that moment. You cannot get involved in this sort of thing. You have to show more control.
