Guadalajara defeated Necaxa 4-0 in Matchday 9 of the Clausura 2024 and that match left several things to analyze, such as the performance of Dana Sandoval, who stood out from the rest of her teammates thanks to the impact she had on the team's collective performance and her pair of goals.

The 16-year-old attacker from the Perla Tapatía lined up as a starter against the Centellas, but played in a different role than usual, she usually plays on either flank. On this occasion, Spinelli decided to use her as a second striker alongside Adriana Iturbide and the skills she showed gave lots to talk about.

Chivas started with their usual structure (3-4-1-2), with Carolina Jaramillo behind Iturbide and Sandoval. Dana positioned herself on the inside lanes and destabilized the Necaxa backline with her brilliantly placed receptions and the speed of her turns. In fact, she came within a whisker of scoring a magnificent goal thanks to her spectacular control, but her shot went over the net.As mentioned before, Dana scored 2 goals against the Centellas. The first of them was at the opener of the match, at 10th minute Caro Jaramillo detected the youth player was open and filtered a good pass for Sandoval to cross a right-footed shot that was unstoppable for the visiting goalkeeper. This goal will go down in the history of Club Deportivo Guadalajara, as it was the 500th goal in the history of the Chingonas in Liga MX Femenil.

Her second goal was also of high quality, as at 69' Montserrat Hernández sent an elevated cross to Dana's head, who with a header caught the goalkeeper off guard and made it 4-0.

In the final minutes, she played in her natural zone, where she generated several dangerous chances after winning her individual duels against Necaxa's fullbacks.
