West Ham United continue their preparations for the 2024/25 season when they take on Dagenham & Redbridge in a friendly this Saturday.
New manager Julen Lopetegui took charge of his first match as Hammers boss last Monday, leading his side out against Hungarian outfit Ferencvaros in Austria. Despite falling two goals behind, the Irons earned themselves a 2-2 draw thanks to goals from Danny Ings and Nayef Aguerd.
Next up for West Ham is a clash against National League side Dagenham & Redbridge this weekend at Chigwell Construction Stadium, the venue at which West Ham Women play their home games.
Here's 90min's preview of the clash on Saturday afternoon.
Dagenham & Redbridge and West Ham have never competed in a competitive fixture.
Dagenham & Redbridge have already played twice in pre-season so should be sharp for West Ham's visit, although a 5-3 defeat and goalless draw don't inspire too much confidence.
The Daggers have made a number of summer signings already, with the likes of Paul Kalambayi, Christian N'Guessan and Trent Rendall likely to feature at some point.
Dagenham & Redbridge predicted lineup vs West Ham (4-3-3): Justham; Rutherford, Kalambayi, Eastman, Lawless; N'Guessan, Rees, Hessenthaler; Remy, Day, Pereira.

Lopetegui will be without six players who are still recovering from this summer's international tournament action, with Jarrod Bowen, Alphonse Areola, Michail Antonio, Lucas Paqueta, Tomas Soucek and Vladimir Coufal all unavailable.
Summer signings Max Kilman, Wes Foderingham and Luis Guilherme all featured against Ferencvaros and should get more minutes under their belt on Saturday.
West Ham predicted lineup vs Dagenham & Redbridge (4-3-3): Foderingham; Marshall, Zouma, Kilman, Emerson; Earthy, Ward-Prowse, Potts; Guilherme, Ings, Cornet.
Friendly matches tend to provide goals and you'd imagine that this one will. West Ham have the majority of their starters fit and available, allowing them to put fifth-tier Dagenham and Redbridge to the sword.
Even if Lopetegui chooses a youthful lineup, the Hammers should have more than enough quality to batter the Daggers.
