Bojan Radulovic has been hugely disappointing in a Huddersfield Town shirt, so it may be time for them to cut their losses.

Huddersfield Town are discovering that League One is a lot tougher than many may have expected.

The Terriers suffered relegation from the Championship at the end of last season and subsequently returned to League One for the first time in over a decade.

Michael Duff took charge as manager and arrived with a competent CV, having earned previously earned promotion from League Two with Cheltenham before reaching the League One play-offs with Barnsley.

As expected, Huddersfield find themselves in the promotion race, but things have not been as smooth sailing as they would have liked.

From their first 16 games, they have lost five, while winning nine and drawing two. As a result, they sit in fifth place, despite likely having pre-season expectations of automatic promotion given the stature of the club.

They have certainly found their feet now though, as they are unbeaten in their last seven league games, having won five in that run of games.

One slight concern for the Terriers will be the lack of goals coming from their strikers.

They are managing to get goals from all over the pitch, but their strikers are yet to score regular goals. That includes Bojan Radulovic, who has really struggled for form ever since arriving in Yorkshire.

Radulovic first signed for Huddersfield in January of this year and he arrived with plenty of hype. The 24-year-old played for Brighton as a youngster before banging in regular goals in the Finnish top flight a couple of years later.

It was his stint in Finland that caught the eye of Huddersfield, who spent a sizeable fee to bring him to the club. He made his debut in the FA Cup against Manchester City, but it took him a few months to score his first goal for the club, as he barely started any games.

This season, in League One, he has made six league starts, along with five appearances off the bench, but has managed to score just one goal, which is not good enough for this level.

Football League World asked their Huddersfield Town fan pundit, Graeme Rayner, whether he holds out hope for the striker, but he was not overly confident.

"I'm genuinely not sure at the moment. It feels like he has had enough opportunities lately and if he is the player we thought we were signing, he should have proven himself by now at this level."

"He's had a decent number of games now in League One. He's played 10 games in the league now and only scored one, so I think he should really have stepped up by now. I think he should really have done more."

"He never quite looks at the races enough and it's a real shame. I think he's now played 24 or 25 games for us since he joined us and scored twice with one assist. It's not enough, is it?"

"If there is any way of off-loading him and cutting our losses, then we should do it. However, I think there are other strikers at the club who are further down the pecking order. If we were to bring a striker in in January, he'd probably be one of four who we could keep as a top four choice, if you like, along with Rhys Healey, Josh Koroma and another."
