Chelsea welcomed Brentford at Stamford Bridge earlier today as they looked to secure a good result at home in the Premier League. The Blues made a slow start to the game and were held to a scoreless draw at the half-time break.

Ethan Pinnock opened the goal-scoring for the visitors in the 58th minute. Mauricio Pochettino’s men failed to come up with a response and conceded their second goal in injury-time when Bryan Mbeumo found the back of the net. The contest ended with Chelsea suffering a poor 2-0 loss in front of their home fans.

Let’s take a look at how each Chelsea player performed during the match against the Bees.

GK: Robert Sanchez – 6/10

Sanchez made some solid saves at the back and won’t be pleased about conceding twice in the second half.

RB: Axel Disasi – 6/10

He failed to keep things solid at the back and made two decent runs with the ball.

CB: Thiago Silva – 6.5/10

Silva did his fair share of defending but his efforts were enough today.

CB: Levi Colwill – 7/10

He performed his defensive duties well and was a strong presence in the air.
