Chelsea welcomed Brentford at Stamford Bridge earlier today as they looked to secure a good result at home in the Premier League. The Blues made a slow start to the game and were held to a scoreless draw at the half-time break.

The Spaniard was a positive influence in both halves and was substituted in the 80th minute.

CM: Conor Gallagher – 7/10

He caused a few headaches for the opposition defenders but didn’t do enough to get his name on the scoresheet.

Caicedo anchored the midfield well at times but offered very little in the final third.

He had a few bright moments in the game but never looked like he would score.
