Barcelona will entertain Getafe at the Nou Camp this Saturday afternoon as they look to secure all three points on the road in La Liga. The Catalan club were held to a 1-1 draw by Napoli in midweek, so they would be eager to return to winning ways this weekend.

Xavi will set his side up in a 4-3-3 formation and is expected to make a few changes to his first XI for this game. Both Pau Cubarsi and Raphinha could get a chance to play from the start of this contest versus Getafe.

Defence

Marc-Andre ter Stegen will feature in between the sticks for the Catalan club after he shipped in one goal in his last outing. Pau Cubarsi will resume his defensive partnership with Ronald Araujo at the centre of the Barca backline as they focus on keeping things solid at the back during the game.

Jules Kounde will function as the right-back while Joao Cancelo looks to impress on the other flank as the left-back. Both of them will get the license to get forward and express themselves in the opponent’s half.

Inigo Martinez will offer cover for the defensive positions on the bench.

Midfield

Frenkie de Jong, Andreas Christensen and Ilkay Gundogan will make up the Barca midfield as they look to establish their dominance over the opposition at the centre of the park. All three of them would need to move the ball well if they want to create some clear-cut chances in the final third.

Oriol Romeu will have to settle for a spot on the bench as he waits for his chance to make an impact in the second 45 minutes if needed.

Attack

Pedri will get an opportunity to shine on the left wing while Raphinha hopes to catch the eye as the right-sided wide player. Robert Lewandowski will lead the line for the Catalan club on the offensive end of the field. He would be eager to make a difference for Barca in the final third after getting his name on the scoresheet away at Napoli recently.

Lamine Yamal will have to be content with a place on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the latter stages if required.
