Oliver Glasner has plenty of options for London derby on opening weekend despite the loss of Michael Olise
Crystal Palace are expected to play Marc Guehi against Brentford on Sunday despite a fourth bid for the England defender being tabled by Newcastle.
Palace begin the new Premier League campaign this weekend when they visit London rivals Brentford, and the Eagles do not have many fitness concerns to worry about at present.
Cheick Doucoure returned at the end of last season following a long rehabilitation period in the aftermath of a snapped Achilles tendon. He suffered a fresh injury concern during pre-season but is believed to be fit ahead of facing the Bees.
Matheus Franca, meanwhile, suffered throughout last season with lower back pain and an injury to his hip. He will not feature here due to a rib issue, despite his involvement in Palace training this summer.
Palace welcomed Jean-Philippe Mateta back to training on Wednesday following his five-goal haul for France at the Olympic Games in Paris. The silver medallist is in contention to start against Brentford.
Dean Henderson is expected to start in goal, with Sam Johnstone having been given the No32 shirt this term.
There could be competitive debuts for a number of summer signings at Palace, including Ismaila Sarr, Chadi Riad and Daichi Kamada. Chris Richards is also fit.
Predicted Crystal Palace XI (3-4-2-1): Henderson; Andersen, Guehi, Riad; Sarr, Doucoure, Wharton, Mitchell; Kamada, Eze; Mateta
