Crystal Palace are tipped as unlikely to now hijack Fulham’s pursuit of Arsenal midfielder Emile Smith Rowe due to the price, according to journalist Alan Nixon.
The 23-year-old midfielder is closing in on a move to Fulham from Arsenal in the ongoing transfer window.
He was left out of Arsenal’s 1-1 draw against Bournemouth last night as the midfielder looks to seal his move to Fulham.
Crystal Palace have also been interested in signing him but it has been suggested that they are unlikely to hijack the deal.
Fulham have offered Arsenal a deal worth up to £35m and it has been suggested that price is one Crystal Palace are unlikely to match.
The Cottagers are looking to get the capture of Smith Rowe over the line soon.
He is a player that Crystal Palace boss Oliver Glasner likes and the Austrian was keen to have him.
Smith Rowe is a product of the Arsenal academy and has made more than 100 appearances for the Gunners.
