Bob Faesen of HLN is reporting that Crystal Palace are showing concrete interest in Genk’s Colombian international Daniel Munoz. The 27-year-old right-back is one of the best in his position in the Pro League, and from an attacking sense his numbers are very impressive in recent times. So far this season the defender has five goals and one assist in 16 matches. During the 2022/2023 season Munoz scored eight goals and provided five assists.

Munoz contract expires at the end of the current season, but Genk do have the option to extend it for a further year. Therefore, they can try and get maximum value for one of their key players. Like with Gerardo Arteaga, who has also been linked with a move away in January, the side are likely to want to find a replacement before agreeing to the sale of Munoz.
