Crystal Palace are expected to open preliminary contract talks with Eberechi Eze.
The Athletic’s David Ornstein reports that Roy Hodgson’s side are keen to tie down the playmaker’s long-term future.

Eze joined the Eagles in 2020 and has since established himself as a pivotal figure while also earning a recent England call-up.
Manchester City previously considered the 25-year-0ld in their move to replace the outgoing Riyad Mahrez.
But with so much talk surrounding his future, a new contract tying him down to Selhurst Park for the foreseeable future will be a huge boost to the London club.
