Crystal Palace have strengthened their midfield on the eve of the new season by completing the signing of midfielder Victor Camarasa.
He has joined from Real Betis on a season-long loan deal.
That also includes an option for the Eagles to purchase him permanently next summer for a fee of £15m.
The 25-year-old does have previous Premier League experience, having starred for a disappointing Cardiff City side last season.
Although he couldn’t prevent the Bluebirds from being relegated, he did win the Players’ Player of the Year award.
“I am very happy to be here, and I’m so excited to start with the group,” he told Palace’s official website after finalising the move.
“I think Palace has great players and it is a great club.
“I’m going to work hard to play football, and I hope that the fans are excited with my football.”
He is the Eagles’ fourth acquisition of the summer, following on from Stephen Henderson, Jordan Ayew and Gary Cahill.
