Crystal Palace pushing to sign Marseille’s Ismaïla Sarr | OneFootball

Premier League side Crystal Palace FC are pushing to sign Olympique de Marseille winger Ismaïla Sarr (26), according to a report this Friday from Foot Mercato. The 26-year-old Senegal international has received a contractual proposal from the Eagles. Sarr only joined Marseille last year from Watford in exchange for a €13m fee. His debut season at the Vélodrome won’t live long in memory. He only logged five goals and six assists in 35 games. Sarr is tied with the Ligue 1 side with a contract set to expire in 2028.

The 64-time Senegal international and Crystal Palace are reportedly in talks to strike an agreement on personal terms. The outlet understands that initial talks have started between the Olivier Glasner-led side and Marseille. Sarr is reportedly keen to return to England after spending four seasons at Watford between 2019 and 2023. Sarr could follow Iliman Ndiaye (24) and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (35) in leaving Marseille after only one season.
