Crystal Palace are planning to submit a bid worth €32 million for the potential signing of Inter Milan defender Yann Bisseck, reports La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The German centre-back has been an integral player for the Nerazzurri since his move from Danish club AGF in 2023 in a deal worth €7m

Despite not being a regular starter, Bisseck featured in 46 games in all competitions last season, helping Inter finish as runners-up in Serie A and the Champions League.

The Nerazzurri are looking to cash in on the 24-year-old to generate funds for transfer targets, including Atalanta striker Ademola Lookman and Genoa midfielder Martin Frendrup.

Palace are among the clubs interested in Bisseck and plan to test Inter’s resolve with an offer close to his €35m valuation.

Inter have lined up Genoa’s Koni De Winter as a potential replacement if Bisseck leaves this summer.

Palace are prioritising a centre-back in the transfer market due to Marc Guehi’s uncertain future.

The English centre-back’s contract expires next month and has attracted interest from Premier League champions Liverpool.

Manager Oliver Glasner has expressed his disappointment about the club’s lack of signings in the transfer window, stating it could affect their performances this season.

Left-back Borna Sousa and goalkeeper Walter Benitez are the only arrivals. Eberechi Eze, Adam Wharton and Jean-Philippe Mateta have been linked with moves elsewhere.

Palace are looking to build on this year’s historic FA Cup victory and compete for more silverware.

Bisseck will be an excellent addition for Palace to lead the defence alongside Maxence Lacroix.
