The deal was announced by both clubs this afternoon via their respective media channels.
Noble joined Crystal Palace in summer 2022 after leaving Lewes, however, she has endured a frustrating spell in South London with a long-term injury not helping her cause. The midfielder made four appearances for The Eagles in the Barclays Women’s Championship last season. She made a first appearance in the matchday squad this season in the game against Reading before Christmas.
The player needs a run of games as she bids to get back to her best form following her injury and she has returned to Oxford United, a club where she previously started out on her footballing journey.
After re-joining The Yellows, Noble told the club’s official media team “There’s been so many positive changes and it’s been nice to come in and actually see them for myself now.
“Unfortunately for me, I had a bad injury whilst I was at Palace, but the way I was looked after was amazing and I’ll always be grateful for how they looked after me and all the girls at the time.
“I love to get on the ball, I love to score goals outside the box, I love to put a tackle in but I think the biggest thing for me is I just want to be on the ball all the time and I just want to keep the game flowing from the middle of the pitch and help out where I can.
“I think it’s always great to join a group that are already winning and already on such a strong run, so it’ll be a great experience for me. I think it means you have pressure, but I think pressure is a good thing and it means that we’ve been performing well and I can’t wait to help out.”
Noble could make her second Oxford United debut against London Bees on Sunday afternoon.
