Crystal Palace locked in Man Utd talks today for Van de Beek
Tribal Football
Crystal Palace are pushing to close a deal for Manchester United midfielder Donny van de Beek.
The Daily Mail says talks between the two clubs are underway with United open to letting Van de Beek leave this month.
Negotiations are said to have been positive, raising hope at the south London club that a deal - which would be one of the most eye-catching of the window - is possible.
Palace were resigned to not making a signing this month but the opportunity to land the 24-year-old has seen the club shift into gear.
Van de Beek has struggled for game time since arriving at Old Trafford in a deal worth £40million in 2020.
He's made just four Premier League starts in that time and would now welcome the opportunity to play regular first-team football.
